I have been known to love me some 4 Hands, and it’s said on secret internet chat rooms but also in the public that I love me a double IPA. This one was kind of a trip, though...At first go, it was so damn good. All the perfectest most perfect haziness and hop balance. It was a godsend for my mouth. A few days later, though, I had another one and it contained so much hop burn that I honestly couldn’t taste anything the rest of the evening. A few days after that, I rolled the dice on a third one and it was completely dead. No hop burn, just terrible flavor. Dumped. Because of that, the fourth went straight into the trash. Ang and I both had serious sads because the first one from the 4-pack was downright perfect in every way. And, everything after that was a haunting experience that I don’t wish on anyone except all you fuckers that I hate. I shall choose to instead remember our first go, as it was 100% 4 Hands DIPA righteousness from the minds and fingertips of their brewers in STL. Dammit. - Ryan
