GAH! I poured this, and then the creamy head had me all, “Oh shit, I’m going to love this beer,” and then I totally didn’t and I drank too large of a mouthful and then the red dry tickle hit the back of my throat and then I was finally able to swallow and then I died. I love this brewery, but this red tastes like the way I don’t want beer to taste. I know I’ve talked about it before, where there’s a malt and hop combination in a consistent number of hoppy red ales that just makes me super unhappy. This has that. I remember it from a bad Gubna, and a Rambler IPA from Goose, but I can’t pin it down. It’s my hell no. - Joel
