The very smart and well beerdowed folks at Alvarado Street and Burial courted each other and had a Franconian dark lager baby. And, you know I bought it because I’ll buy anything they’ve had their hands or body parts or brains on. I mostly loved this beer because dark lagers are astounding. The part I didn’t love probably came from the malt or something, but there was an awkward sweetness to it. Which is fine, because there’s also an awkward sweetness to the Franconian language, which sounds like I’m listening to German but then it’s like I’M NOT GERMAN AND YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND ME. Before it gives me a hug and we sit down for another beer. Prost anyway, you weirdos. - Ryan
