Bath Ales - Lansdown IPA

Hey, a bath beer! I mean, a Bath beer! I did not have this in the bath, but I definitely should have. Although, it was a gift from my buddy, Ana, who expatriated herself to the quaint villages of England and is now always wet because England, while I bask in the sunshine of southern Spain. Haha, sucker. (Love you, lady.) Anyway, I like that this beer has flavor and is tastes more like an American IPA than an English IPA, because I like the punch of the former better. They used Mosaic and Simcoe though, so there ya go. What I don’t like is the balance on it. The herbal waftings of the English countryside or whatever that I’m getting from it just aren’t for me. Something is off-kilter here, in my definitely-not-professional opinion. I look forward to trying a freshie on tap one day, whenever I make it to Bath and whenever I find suitable English weather attire. - Ryan
