So, Bella Snow reached out to me while I was still in the hospital ❄️ and they whooshed down some of their brews from up in Sonoma so Ang and I could try them out. 📭 Their whole game is low-cal, low-ABV, gluten-free beer that they do their damndest to keep jam-packed full of flavor. ⏳ While I didn’t drink any while I was IN the hospital 🚫 we did tackle their grapefruit “soft ale” after I got out and stopped with all the bullshit narcotics. 💊 Aaaaand, here’s our first take: Mmmmmm, not so sure. 🧐 Both of us agreed that it basically tastes like grapefruit seltzer (hard or otherwise), and sadly doesn’t really retain much of the “ale” flavor that we want in an…ale. 🍺 Is it bad? No. Does it taste like something I could or would replace a “real” beer with? Also no. 😕 We have a couple more flavors to check out, so hopefully those are more “beer-ish.” 🤷♂️ - Ryan
