Made our way up to Buffalo Creek in Long Grove, IL, to swing our way through their brews, none of which we’d ever had. It was the town’s chocolate fest, so it was tough to get to (and avoid those temptations), but we finally made it in and began smashing everything. Ang went DIPA the whole time (standard Ang!) and I worked my way through most everything here. I really dug the Russian IS and its BA brother, as well as the Belgian and the hefe. Oh, and the chocolate bacon stout. What. Solid lineup overall and we spent plenty of time indulging and yikkety-yakking with other patrons.
