Casita took the second runnings of a barleywine and made them into this heavily flavored amber lager. Both Ang and I thought it was weird as hell at first, but it mellowed out after a few sips and ended up being quite enjoyable. Not sure I’ve ever had an amber with so much going on. So much going on in a good way, it almost tastes spiced. I wouldn’t drink a bunch of them at once, but it did me right while the stupid snow fell outside. - Ryan
