When the sun is out in Tahoe - which is fortunately often - it’s time to get outside and let those rays do their work to convince you it’s not rather chilly. So, we popped into the greatly expanded patio at Cold Water for a lick and a bite. The one good thing about Covid is that patios are bigger and more of a thing now. PATIOS 4 LYFE. If you don’t have a patio, time to reassess! I took on one of their IPAs while Ang of course went for a DIPA. Both were pretty old school in style, sadly nothing magnificent but also not a disappointment. We both liked the IPA better as the double was a bit off-kilter to our flavor receptors. Sadly, we couldn’t try more because I had to drive. Stupid driving. Anyway, it’s worth checking out when you’re in South Lake Tahoe, and I’d appreciate a more thorough report if and when you do. P.S.
