My girthy fervor for Energy City cannot be contained by mere flesh. Mere flesh cannot obfuscate the arousal that one may experience when given an opportunity to sip sip sip on a spicy sampling of one of the more inventive beers I’ve ever cracked. Leave it to Energy City to take on an Indian mango lassi recipe as a milkshake IPA and have it come out as balls as this. Traditional balls, tho. Granted, this was a weird departure from the sweet, sweet thick’n thick we’ve come to know from these guys, but passing around the glass between curious friends was an awesome way of bringing all the IPA boys to my yard. Spicy and different and warm on the tongue, this wasn’t something I would drink solo, but again, sharing this tubby with other interested beer nerds was one of the highlights of last weekend.
