I received this beer on my porch two days into my sober October punishment. The brewer at Fifty West has sort of turned into one of my favorite walking mantras of how to live your best life. His name is Lord Duckworth and he carries a sword and rocks an amazing beard and treats people like they’re gifts. NO, LORD DUCKWORTH, YOU ARE THE GIFT. As my first IPA in 30 days, this beer was so delicious and important, I not only gained the joy of knowing Lord Duckworth brewed it and shipped it to me personally to put it inside me, but that I had a piece of the Lord’s liquid inside of me AND my friend Jason.
