I’ve never imagined a lemon in beer and feeling like it belonged there. Even thinking back on my HACKER-PSCHORR days where I chugged the tall glass around the perched lemon and never thought to say, “NO FRUIT THANKS,” to my trusted bartenders, lemon doesn’t sound like it should be in me beersies. Aaaaaaaaand then, this shows up on my porch. Lemon. Holy citrus-surprise balls, there’s this vanilla aftertaste on this thang and it’s kind of making me think they took a handful of lemon Starburst (the best flavor, FIGHT ME) and a sleeve of lemon Mamba (the best flavor, FIGHT ME AGAIN) and dropped ‘em in the secondary while Seal’s “Kiss from a Rose” plays on the hifi as I undress seductively. My underwear have little lightning bolts on them and my wife wore her matching pair today (thanks MeUndies!), so you can fuck right off with your jealousy. I love this, I think.
