I popped my Hailstorm cherry! Granted, I only had about 15 minutes to stick around and soak it all in, but daaaaaaaaaamn, this place has flavaaaaaaaaa! A bourbon barrel-aged Russian Imperial Vlad with coffee (one of my favorite stouts on its own) was just tapped, so I opted for one of those, and a Surrounded By Idiots Vol. II DANGER ZONE hazy IPA. Anyone who wonders what it feels like to take down two 8%+ beers in under 15 minutes, it felt like my pants were yanking themselves down because of how damn flavorcomf I felt.
The Vlad was incredible (would’ve loved to let it warm up a bit), and the Idiots was flaaaaaaaame. Really wish I had more time to sample everything, but I’m super-impressed with the friendly atmosphere and my pants wanting to sit by themselves. I LOVE YOU, HAILSTORM! HAIL YEA! (#dadjokes) - Joel
