Love me some Hoof Hearted on the rare occasion that I can get my hands on it! I was looking forward to inhaling this one, but I sadly left disappointed. It’s supposed to hit with added coffee and vanilla, as well as some caramel notes, but I didn’t get any good flavor at all until it warmed up. It was a rather bitter, boring affair that tasted like burnt and/or shitty and/or instant coffee until that point, when the coffee hit better juuuuust a little bit. Ang agreed with all of this, so I’m either not crazy, or we both are. (Very possible.) I distinctly remember liking this beer the first time I had it. What gives? I hope I got a wrecked one or something. Sad pants. - @jetsliketaxis
