We’re spoiled out here in Illinois. We gots incredible local and regional breweries, a half-dozen or so accessible minor league baseball teams, pot will be legal on January 1, our taxes are insane, and they sell incredible local and regional beers at my local minor league baseball stadium and pot will be legal soon and taxes burn me in places we shouldn’t talk about. We hit up the Kane County Cougars game the other night thanks to Tangled Roots and spent the evening going back and forth between the 108 golden from Tangled Roots and the pilsner from Penrose. Like a runner caught up in a pickle, my wife and I couldn’t pick a winner, so we had another round to silently nod and flirt with each other. We also sexted throughout the game.
My dude Jason somehow got my kids on the field for a mid-5th inning race and my wife and I gained an inch and a half in solid ab muscle from laughing so hard. If you haven’t been out to see the KC Cougs, make it a point to. The food is awesome, the beer selection is FLAME, and hey, they can come back and win in the bottom of the 10th inning and make you sniffle them bottom of the 10th sports dream tears, bro.
