In between the niece’s softball games - they won the Wisconsin state championships, if you must know 👊 - we hit up Café Hollander for some brews and foodles. This local group of Belgian- and Dutch-inspired restaurants and cafes, as well as their own Lowlands brewery brand - comes super-hard with the beer list. I started off with a Fruit Punch Fantasy Factory IPA by Karben4, as it was on the local-ish ‘exclusives and rarities’ part of the menu. It was my first Karben4 beer, and while the flavors were solid, it was too slightly sour for my taste. It’s not labeled as a sour IPA, so yeah. Too much going on with all the fruits in there as well. (I would later have the OG Fantasy Factory and would like it much better.)
