I’m not even going to get into the “Common” style or steam beers or whatever. Instead, I’m going to focus on the fact that this beer is super-interesting and righteously good. Even at 7.5%, I could drink it all day if it weren’t a bit heavy on the tongue and in the gut. It’s got a coppery, rye-y flavor, but in a good way. It’s not at all like the lighter steam beers that are great for boats and other hot weather activities. I’d kinda rather have this when it’s colder outside, if I ever stayed in one place long enough for it to get cold. Because fuck cold weather. It is dumb, unlike this beer, which is good. - Ryan at Bulldog Ale House in Algonquin, Illinois
