Last week, I the pleasure and honor of driving north to the Canada of Illinois, a town called Buffalo Grove, to hang with the guys from Liquid Love. Not only did I get to help brew a beer collab with Hope For The Day titled DBAD: Don’t Be A Dick, an east meets west coast pale ale, I got to slow life down for a bit, sample the best barleywine I’ve ever put inside me, and then giggle while hoisting bags of malt and oats into the mash tun. These dudes are straight crushing righ meow, but thankfully they’re also incredible humans that I’m honored to know and love. Matt, Jon, Joe, Sean: y’all are the homies and I’m proud af of the beer y’all have already dropped and I’m super hyped to put that DBAD all up in me. Stay tuned, Hopsmash fam! - Joel
