So, Brauerei Locher makes Appenzeller Bier, and I banged through a couple of their layers in previous posts. I saw this curiously named IPA at the beer store and had to give it a go, since modern styles aren’t usually the strong suit of old school, classic regional lager makers. And, it wasn’t bad! I don’t know why it’s called an artisanal IPA in Italian, because it’s not an Italian IPA and it also doesn’t remind me of Italy beyond saying the name in Italian. That said, I really like the bitterness of this one. Because I’m a bitter boy. Like, how I’m bitter at how bad the lighting is in this Airbnb. You’re welcome for all the shitty photos. Saluti! - Ryan
