“I have a brilliant idea. I’m gonna open a tap house in this town in the middle of nowhere that only has a population of 1,300. It’ll be a success!” I can only imagine how those mental math gymnastics were done by the owners of Lodi Tap House in Maple Park, IL. But shiiiiiit...they were right! This place is dope as hell and good as hell and people come here from all over to crush maaaaaaad beers.
Their tap list is an Illinois brewery wet dream come to life, and their can/bottle list puts nearly every place I’ve ever been to complete shame. It’s 100% bonkers and like, 10 pages long. They really need to open a B&B next door so we can stay here for a weekend. I can’t even with this tap list. If I told you, you wouldn’t believe me. Some nice employee kept messaging us to come here and we never did. (Sorry!) Until now. My good baby jeebus.
