The first time I was gonna go to Metazoa many moons ago, they were having a pre-party or some shit for a White Zombie show. And, I looked at Ang, and her face said, “No fucking way, bro.” Not because she hates White Zombie, but because she worked in rock for a long time and is so burnt out on the music scene that you can barely even get her to listen to music. So, we didn’t go. And, I never got to try their beer. But, alas! I went to a store in Indiana that had some and I snatched up this Hippo. Hippos are dope, yo. They’re cute and cuddly and CHONKERS but they can also be like, “Yo dude, you’re dead now.” This Citra and Mosaic boi is downright tasty as hell. I wanted a clear IPA and I got a clear IPA and it was delightful. Slightly but not too sweet, bitter but not too bitter. It’s not a world beater, but I would 110% smash a bunch of these chilling on the grass somewhere. - Ryan
