Mile Wide - Uncle Disheveled Coffee Stout

Mile Wide - Uncle Disheveled Coffee Stout

HOLY COFFEE ON MY FACE, ROASTER MAN. I wasn’t even gonna review this because I was chillin’ and not thinking about work, but I just goddamn had to. I do not believe I’ve ever - EVER - had a coffee beer that was this coffee-ish. My. God.

Mile Wide used Highland Coffee Co.’s southern pecan blend straight-up has cold brew in it, and it’s called Uncle Disheveled because that’s what Greg from Highland’s nephew calls him. 😂 If that kid is a kid and not an adult, that’s a big word right there. UNCLE D! Anyway, this beer has almost zero acid bitterness and tastes like that one time a brewery made me a half-coffee half-beer that was glorious and that I was never able to replicate. It’s so fucking good. I can’t even.

Apparently, there’s a double coffee version that Casey from MW said made his eyes bug out of his face and deprived him of sleep one evening. I was sadly not around for that one, but I did review the BA imperial version a while back. That one was boss AF, but I gotta tell ya, this original Uncle D wins the prize. Holy balls. - Ryan
