Chicago-based design and branding crew Stout Collective does this series called Working For Beer, where they collaborate with a brewery on a label and a design and then take a shitload of the beer for themselves as payment. I assume they then proceed to get fuck-hammered upon said beer’s delivery and design more merch for their shop. Seems like a solid plan.
This Lake Trip pale ale is one from that series, done in conjunction with the suburban beer heroes at Phase Three. It’s a straightforward Centennial, Chinook, and Simcoe affair, nothing too bold but still fucking lishballs because it’s by Phase Three. Would I take it to the lake with me? Yes. Would I take it to the body at the lake? Of course. Would I be moist the whole time? Yes. But, the question is: Would the moistness be from the lake or from my body? Both. The correct answer is both. - Ryan
