I really wanted to believe that a lorikeet was a hybrid of a parakeet and some other animal. Like a liger. It’s actually an Australian bird and not something you’d see in early 19th-century photos from some explorer named Simon or Edmund with a funny accent dressed in all tan. Ah well. Who really cares though, because I am all about this beer. It’s like those combo fruit juices you hated as a kid because they were always off somehow, but better and delicious because it’s an IPA and it’s made by Pressure Drop. It’s all Galaxy hops and it has a very slight tang that gets more intense as it warms up, but I can’t tell if that’s from its age - it’s recently canned - or how it’s supposed to be. Whatever, it’s fucking yum balls and I would like another, please. - Ryan
