Took a break on our long drive with an overnight in Texarkana. Where the Texas-Arkansas border runs through town and all the breweries are on the Texas side, I assume for business/tax reasons. We were gonna hit two spots, but the other didn’t have their patio open on this sunny day (d’oh), so we only got to this here spot called Redbone Magic.
Not sure how long they’ve been around, but they only had a handful of their own beers on tap, and then a bunch of guest drafts. Ang went straight in for the IPAs, by Deep Ellum and Manhattan Project, while I opted for Redbone’s own beers and punished some lagers.
The space was nearly empty when we arrived, but fuggin’ packed by the time our food rolled in. We did a whole lot of patio chillin’ and harassing of Colt and Carter - y’all rock - and I have to say I quite enjoyed myself. Hopefully, next time we pass through, they’ll have filled up that tap list with some goodies of their own. - Ryan
