Double IPA - Beer Reviews by Hopsmash

I admit to being an old man among the old men in the craft beer fandom, don't worry, even women and those in between can join us in being an old man (you just have to say "yeeeeeap" when you stand up after sitting for longer than a few minutes). In my role as old man, I look to the Double IPA as being the ABV ceiling for most beverages I could once drink by myself, and now must split at least two tree ways. Alcohol makes me tired. So, while Double IPAs are oftentimes delicious, they put me to sleep faster than someone talking about insurance. Here we celebrate their existence, and their flavor sensations, but curse their boozy mcbooze boobs for making some of us nappier than others. [Ed. note: Joel is old. We're all older than Joel and we do not agree with this. Fin.]
