So, I read this week that figs are not fruit, but inverted flowers that are pollinated by a female wasp. She dies inside and the enzymes dissolve her. I’m really glad I drank this nice, figgy autumn wild ale before I read that, because I’m now never going to eat a damn fig again. 🤢 Fig nightmares though, definitely. - Ryan
