My buddy Danny likes this beer so much that he bought an extra can for me. And it’s damn good. Thing is - and I know I sound like a broken record here - I want my imperial beers to taste imperial. I actually do like boozy flavor when it’s not overpowering and complements a beers flavor centers. I’m not big on red ales, but I am bigger on them if they have that. And, this one doesn’t. Is it fucking good? As a red ale, it sure as hell is. Is it fucking ballerlicious to me, personally? Nah. Lemme get a true imperial over 8%, and I’ll be in the zone. - Ryan
